is varied with a number of specialty,
gift and souvenir boutiques right
in Rodanthe. There are kite and
surf shops where you will kind
find all manner of water equipment
or bright, exotic kites to fly
above the dunes. The local pier
offers excellent fishing throughout
the year for those who prefer
to catch their own dinner, or
just use the fishing rod as an
excuse to enjoy the sun and the
water. For those who aren’t
into baiting a hook, you are in
an excellent location for freshly
caught, excellently prepared seafood.
